Conventional shell drying with water based slurries takes a long time and because the evaporative chill effect causes a temperature drift and stress inside the shell, there is always a risk of cracks. The MK high speed drying technology solves these problems automatically. Thus the quality of the shell is better and shell building time is reduced dramatically.

HIGH SPEED SHELL DRYING
- High speed and very turbulent wind takes the moisture out of the shell.
- Infrared light, controlled by two sophisticated sensor systems, neutralizes the chill effect and keeps the shell temperature stable within a
- range of ± 1 °C. The absolute temperature is limited to 25 °C (77 °F).
- Due to the energy of the IR radiation the internal bonding is better and the shell becomes stronger.
- The complete shell rotates continuously, which leads to a very gentle, equal and stress-free drying.
